Celebrating over 25 Years of Serving God,
and the Ross Road Community!
Ross Road Church of Christ has been in the community for almost 25 years. They are committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people, and serving the community. We serve the community with programs like our Before & After School Care program for elementary age children.
At Ross Road there is a place for EVERYONE to belong,
to experience God's love, to grow in God's family,
and to serve in God's kingdom!
We have a very active XYZ (Xtra Years of Zeal) group whose outings include plays, dinner and a movie, breakfast together, trips to the Botanical Gardens, monthly LIFEGroup meals, many more fun activities, as well as opportunities to study the Bible together. The senior members at Ross definitely belong, and contribute!
Men belong here too! Not only do they help to server during the worship services by leading prayers, serving the Lord's Supper, and preaching ... They also have regular prayer breakfast meetings once a month on Saturdays. The most important thing a church can do is pray!
The women of Ross Road have long been joined in heart. They participate in many activities through the year. Some of those activities include the Red Dress Tea in February, prayer breakfasts, retreats, and ladies' days. There are many opportunities to connect, and belong.
Ross Road has always been a great place for teenagers to find a place in the kingdom of God, to learn about Jesus, and to experience the joy of serving as a vital member of the body of Christ, and to build a solid foundation of good moral values, with love for others and Christ.
The little ones have a place to grow into God's family. From birth all the way through high school there are bible classes, and a vibrant Mother's Day Out & Pre-K program. There is an attended nursery during the worship service, as well as a very special worship service for children 4th grade and younger. This service is offered to teach them about worship on a level that they can understand, and learn to enjoy.
Ross Road really enjoys singing praises. James Riddick leads the congregation in songs each week. He guides the corporate worship in praise and joyful song, and in tuning our hearts to the Lord. The songs are projected on a screen, and the message each week helps us to learn more about God's meaning for our lives.
