About Us

The first thing you need to know is that The Ross Road Church is a family.  We care about each other and we take care of each other.  When you have a problem, a need, or a struggle, this is the place where you come to find someone who can help you. We have a special commitment to love and accept one another regardless of our differences.  Our motto is …

“The road to reconciliation

leads to the cross.”

This reminds us that at the foot of the cross we are all the same.  Here you will find people of African, Hispanic, Anglo, and Asian descent worshiping together and loving each other as children of God who have been washed in the blood of His Son.  The most important thing we do is worship God together as a family.  To praise and glorify God is the reason we exist.  When we gather as a church, great things happen … fellowship, teaching, encouragement, and serving.   We are bound together when we come to the throne of God to praise His name in song and prayer.

We firmly believe in the inspiration of God’s Word.  The preaching of the Word has a prominent place in our worship.  In God’s Word we find comfort, challenge, inspiration, and illumination.  The Apostle Paul wrote that “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  When we open God’s Word, we find that He has something to say to us today that will change how we live tomorrow.

We hope that you will be one of many who come to Ross Road and decide to make it your church home.  Become involved in something that really makes a difference in the world around you.

God has richly blessed Ross Road with a spirit of unity and we want that unity to permeate everything we do.  Ross is truly a place for everyone to experience God’s love, grow in God’s family and to serve in God’s kingdom.
